S.T.A.Q.S. Security as we know it today evolved from Qiydaar Kirk’s goals for an efficient and effective security plan and great customer service. “Q” as he was known, believed in leadership through service. This belief that true leadership depends on leading by example was the principle on which S.T.A.Q.S. Security was built and drove the decisions the company has made for the past 6 years. So much of S.T.A.Q.S. history is tied to the story of Qiydaar Kirk himself, and so much of our future will be rooted in Qiydaar’s principle.

ROAD TO S.T.A.Q.S Security

S.T.A.Q.S. Security was founded by Qiydaar A. Kirk in 2015. This company was started because at a young age he understood the financial benefits from owning a business rather than working for a wage or salary. A security enterprise whose core foundation is built on honesty, integrity, diligence, attentiveness, and assertiveness that has the potential for growth was and still is our main goal. At the age of 18 Qiydaar entered the security industry doing event security for a couple of religious groups in his hometown of New Haven, CT. Fast forward a few years, in 2014 he became a bouncer at a well-known nightclub in his hometown named “Toads Place” who host a plethora of celebrity concerts ranging from rock and roll to EDM to hip hop. It was there where Qiydaar Kirk honed in on his security skills and characteristics. One year later, a security enterprise was born what is now known as S.T.A.Q.S. Security.

• 2015 – Qiydaar Kirk goes into a business partnership
• 2016 –Company opens its doors in Connecticut
• 2018 –Qiydaar Kirk buys out partner and changes company name to S.T.A.Q.S. Security
• 2019 –Inauguration of a new office in New Haven Connecticut
